Our promise in one sentence

Biblelogy is a plain, static website built to put an encouraging Bible verse in front of you fast, and it is designed so that using it does not require giving us anything about you.

What we collect

Nothing is required to read verses. There is no sign-up, no account creation, no profile, and no payment anywhere on the site. We do not ask you for your name, your email address, or any other personal information to use Biblelogy.

If you choose to email us (for example through our contact page), we receive the email address you send from, together with the content of your message. We use that only to reply to you and we do not add it to any marketing list.

Cookies and analytics

Biblelogy itself does not set cookies to operate. Nothing on the site needs to remember who you are between visits, there is no account system, and because the pages are static we never see your search history or personal files.

We do use one third-party analytics tool: Google Analytics 4 (GA4). It helps us understand, in aggregate, which verse collections people actually use so we can improve the site. GA4 is a Google-hosted service; it may set cookies (such as the _ga cookie) and collect data such as pages visited, approximate location at a regional level, device type, and referrer. This is processed by Google under Google's privacy policy.

We have configured GA4 for measurement only — it is not used for advertising, remarketing, "cross-domain" linking, or sharing your data with ad networks. You can stop analytics cookies from being set by using your browser's incognito/private mode, blocking third-party cookies, or installing Google's opt-out browser add-on.

Where the verses come from

All Scripture on this site is quoted from the King James Version, which is public domain. That means the verses we publish are nobody's licensed property and your reading, copying, printing, or sharing of them carries no copyright restriction.

Links to other sites

Biblelogy pages may link to other websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party sites, and this policy applies only to Biblelogy.

Children's privacy

Biblelogy includes collections intended for kids and teens, but the site does not collect personal information from anyone, including minors. If you are under 13, you are welcome to read and share verses; there is nothing on this site that requires you to give us information, and we would never knowingly collect any.

Your rights

Because we hold almost nothing, your rights are straightforward: you can email us at any time to ask what (if anything) we hold about you, to correct it, or to request deletion, and we will action that promptly at no cost. Our contact details are on the contact page.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will appear on this page with a new "last updated" date. Material changes that affect your data will be described in plain language.
